Born in 1969, since then she has passionately dedicated herself to the creation of metal accessories for footwear and leather goods.
Over the years, MIMET has acquired the skills that make it one of the most competitive companies in the sector today, capable of responding to the needs of the market and its customers, in Italy and around the world; through the synergies of qualified workers and increasingly researching modern technologies, creating that perfect mix of modernity and craftsmanship that distinguishes us, thus guaranteeing a high level of satisfaction in terms of quality and cost management.
The production cycle is started and completed internally, through the use of the most modern CNC centers, up to the galvanic phases.
We have been working for years with the most prestigious brands in the fashion sector, concentrating on the personalized creation of accessories in direct contact and agreement with the style offices of our clients, ranging from the footwear and leather goods sector to the world of jewellery, clothing and furniture.
In recent years, MIMET has always been attentive and looking towards the future has begun an innovation process which is leading the company to be increasingly in step with the times; in 2024 Mimet began the process of obtaining the sustainability report relating to both energy/environmental and social issues.
The events that have affected our company are certainly known to you. The fire of 12/13 June last year literally bent us but not broke us.
We have rebuilt everything: from floor to ceiling, from technological systems to the restoration of damaged machinery, the entire new galvanic system is being set up. A tremendous effort. We worked day and night to shorten the return time.
In the meantime we have worked at two new production units in Padua and Galta di Vigonovo so as not to lose contact with our customers. The inconvenience was great as was the sacrifice of all of us to deal with the emergency. We certainly were not able to satisfy you 100% and we apologize for this but we ask you to understand the precarious situation in which we worked.
After six months of understandable physical and mental stress we returned to work at our Saonara headquarters, closing the two separate production units. It seems like a miracle but it's not. It is the result of our teamwork, our determination, our desire to return to the market with maximum efficiency. The natural disaster gave us the opportunity to rebuild a new production organization based on a modern layout which will allow us, once tested, to produce better, ensuring precise and faster deliveries. An innovative IT system will help us plan production, giving us the opportunity to significantly improve overall relationships.
